Unfortunately, due to the rain in the forecast for this evening, the Orleans Police Block Party has been canceled.
Message from OPD:
"This decision was not made lightly. Because this event requires the coordination of numerous entities - including town departments, community organizations, and local businesses - we needed to make this decision with enough advanced notice to those that have volunteered for the event.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many businesses that had graciously agreed to close early in support of tonight’s Block Party, and to every partner, vendor, and resident who signed on to make this community celebration possible.
While we are disappointed that the weather has forced us to cancel, please know how much we appreciate the overwhelming support and enthusiasm for this event. Unfortunately, there will be no rain date for the Block Party.
Thank you again for your understanding, and for being part of what makes Orleans such a strong and connected community."
