Sex Offenders

Orleans PoliceThe Orleans Police Department is committed to the task of having individuals living in Orleans who have been convicted of certain sex offenses and have been finally classified by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB) as either a level 2 or level 3 register with the Police Department.

Level 3 Sex Offenders

Any Registered Level 3 sex offender living or working in the town of Orleans will have his or her photograph, a list of addresses and offenses committed posted on this website: see Orleans Level 3 Offenders. The information will also be dispersed to schools and public buildings throughout the town of Orleans. The SORB has determined that Level 3 sex offenders are at a high risk and danger to re-offend and that the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active community notification.

The public also can view all Level 3 sex offenders in Massachusetts, as well as download forms, and have questions answered on the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Boards' website.

Level 2 Sex Offenders

Any Registered Level 2 sex offender living or working in the Town of Orleans will have his or her photograph, as well as a list of addresses and offenses committed on record at the Police department. This information will only be disseminated to persons who:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
